Elmer, the Patchwork Elephant

Elmer is a patchwork-plaid elephant, and whenever he turns up there's always something to laugh about. He's really a cheerful fellow, but one day he's sad because he looks so different from the others — and runs away. Then, though, he discovers how important he is to his friends.

The musical theater play tells of the special something in each of us and of how being different is precisely what's valuable. With music and a lovingly told story, the piece is well suited to a family visit with younger children.

It's performed at the Goldbekhaus in Winterhude, which is set in an old school building and easy to reach via the U-Bahn Sierichstraße or Borgweg.
