Big Lantern Parade Lokstedt

The Lokstedt volunteer fire department and THW Eimsbüttel once again invite everyone to the big Lokstedt lantern parade. From 4:00 pm the gates open at the THW grounds on Spritzenweg. There's a colorful program for young and old, plus drinks and small snacks.

At 6:30 pm the parade sets off through the neighborhood with two marching bands. Families with children can bring their lanterns and walk through Lokstedt together with their neighbors. If you arrive early, you can settle in before the start and have something to eat or drink.

No registration is mentioned, so the parade seems to be open to everyone. Dress warmly, as much of the event takes place outdoors in the evening.
