What it's about
In the middle of Planten un Blomen park, you glide around one of the largest open-air ice rinks in Europe. With 4,300 square meters, there is plenty of room for experienced skaters as well as anyone putting on skates for the first time.
You can rent skates on site, and skating aids are available to make getting started on the ice easier for beginners. Tickets are available online or at the box office, so you can simply drop by. To warm up, an ice bistro serves crêpes and fries.
Good to know: on Tuesdays outside Hamburg school holidays, the rink closes at 8 pm. The rink is located in Planten un Blomen park, and a stroll through the grounds pairs well with your visit.
